Visit the two primate national parks in two countries that is Nyungwe national park in Rwanda for Chimpanzee tracking and then Kahuzi-Biega national park for the low Land gorilla trekking. SAFARI DAY Day 1

Day 1. Transfer to Nyungwe national park from Kigali Rwanda

The driver guide well dressed in our company uniform pick you from the airport or any agreed point in Kigali Rwanda, first takes you through briefing and then transfer Nyungwe forest national park. This amazing tourist destination is a home to 13 primates and the chimpanzees becomes the most outstanding ones. Enjoy the beautiful scenery like the green lush vegetation, different hills and the beautiful Rwandese. Arrive and check in at the booked accommodation.

SAFARI DAY Day 2

Day2. Chimpanzee tracking and cross to Bukavu in DR Congo

Wake up on breakfast and later on head to the park offices for briefing concerned about chimpanzee trekking. This exercise is done with a help of the park guide as he/she explains on the historical background of the forest, its inhabitants, proper dressing attire to use while on tracking, the rules and regulations to follow like feeding animals is prohited, keep distance from the chimpanzees and many more.
Start the search with a park guide well-armed for protection in case of wild animal attack but remember that you have high chances of spotting other wildlife the bird species, big mammals, small primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, varvet monkeys, red taled monkeys and many more others. Meet the community/group of chimps and follow it for an hour, learning about their behaviors as you record memories.
Later on, have lunch at the lodge and transfer to Kahuzi-Biega national park crossing the Bukavu border to DR Congo. In late evening, check in the booked accommodation facility and have dinner.

SAFARI DAY Day 3

Day3. Low land gorilla trekking and leisure

Like the previous day, breakfast will commence the day and then drive to the park offices for briefing. This will not be different from that of chimpanzee tracking and later on be guide by the park ranger to begin the search. The walk will not be tiresome since it involves walking in low land areas.
Meet a family/group of low land gorillas and spend an hour with them where you get to learn about their behaviors and movements. The overall experience can take about 3 to 8 hours depending on where these gorillas are located. Head back to the lodge for leisure evening.

SAFARI DAY Day 4

Day4. Cross back to Kigali Rwanda and drop-off at the airport

Breakfast will be served early morning to get enough time to prepare for your departure flight and this will be followed by a transfer back to Kigali Rwanda. A Drop-off will be at Kigali international Airport to mark the end of the tour.
