Volcanoes National Park is located in the far Northwest parts of Rwanda and your safari of 3 days will rotate with in this protected area for that matter your safari will start and end in this National Park. Most of the interesting creatures will be spotted such as the amazing great apes Gorillas, some primates, different bird species, butterflies and many others.

DAY TO DAY HIGHLIGHT
Day 1. Arrival Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
As soon as you arrive at the airport in Kigali our team will probably welcome and brief you about the safari and drive you to the nearby hotel for a simple meal then after embark on the journey heading to Volcanoes National Park which located in the Northwest parts of Rwanda. Proceed and check in with the booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2. Gorilla trekking and crater lakes exploration
Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda is the only place for Gorilla trekking and is done as same as other National parks in other countries which means after breakfast depart to the park offices as early as possible for briefing from the ranger guide and being grouped. The Park ranger guide will lead you into the jungle in search for these amazing great Apes.
Grab a chance to spot them in their wild grooming each other, copulating, mothers giving care to the infants, infants playing and many other interesting things that will make your trekking more colorful.
Return to the starting point to meet your safari guide and drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the evening experience. Enjoy exploring the craters in the afternoon mostly the Ruhondo and Burera lakes as you receive the information about them with the help of the local guide also feeling the beauty of the sceneries around. Drive back to the lodge after the experience.
Day 3. Optional activity and Departure
Day 3 will be the final day of your trip/safari in Rwanda therefore, after having your breakfast you can opt to first have one more activity before leaving like visiting the grave of Dian Fossey, Golden monkey trekking, mountain hiking just depending on the time of your flight or embark on your journey to Kigali for a short city tour then after be dropped at the airport and fly back home.
