SAFARI DAY Day 1

Day 1: Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Meet your driver-guide, receive a briefing and begin the journey towards southwestern Uganda.

The road journey takes you through Uganda's countryside, with opportunities for scenic stops along the way. Depending on the agreed itinerary and timing, a stop at the Equator can be arranged before continuing towards the Bwindi region.

Continue towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check in at your accommodation near the selected trekking sector. Relax and prepare for the following day's gorilla trek.

GORILLA DAY Day 2

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early and have breakfast before proceeding to the relevant park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Rangers provide information about forest conditions, trekking procedures and responsible gorilla viewing.

Begin your trek into the dense Bwindi forest in search of your assigned mountain gorilla family. Trekking duration varies according to the location and movement of the gorillas.

Once the gorilla family is located, enjoy the permitted viewing experience while observing their natural behavior and taking photographs according to the park's regulations.

After the trek, return to the park headquarters and continue back to your lodge for lunch, relaxation and overnight stay.

FINAL DAY Day 3

Day 3: Bwindi to Kampala or Entebbe

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the return journey from Bwindi towards Kampala or Entebbe.

Enjoy another opportunity to appreciate the changing scenery of southwestern Uganda as you travel towards your departure point. Depending on your schedule, a stop at the Equator or another agreed location can be included.
